ASWJ is an independent, community-based organisation with the aim of enriching, serving and further developing the communities in which it participates via the guidance provided from Allah (SWT) through the Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah. ASWJ has gained a lot of trust and respect from the community due to its firm adherence to the principles of Islam and its detachment from external political interference. It is an independent body, free from any governmental financial and ideological influence. Since its inception, ASWJ has grown to establish centres within New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland.
Twenty-nine years on since its inception, Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah (ASWJ) as an organisation now has 11 centres across Australia by the Will of Allah.
Its main presence remains in NSW, with 4 main centres in suburban Sydney. In addition, ASWJ also has 2 centres in Victoria and one in Western Australia. The organization also enjoys strong ties with many other mosques and Muslim organisations across Australia.
